I can't comment too much on the effect because obviously it takes a longer time, but I've taken other types of collagen which were much more expensive and tasted very unpleasant. This product is therefore ideal.
It has a pleasant taste, but it's hard to mix in cold water.
They taste great
What is collagen?
Collagen comes from the Greek word "collá", which means glue.
'Glue' is a very apt term, as this protein makes up the majority of skin, ligaments, joints, tendons, bones, teeth, hair and connective tissues. Collagen is needed to build and heal all the tissues in our bodies. It is no coincidence that collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body.
Collagen makes up 30% of the total protein in our bodies.
However, as the human body ages, our body's collagen production gradually decreases. As a result, tissues with high collagen content lose their elasticity.
Pure Gold Protein beef collagen provides a natural solution to replenish the body's collagen needs.
It is important to point out that the studies on collagen utilization refer to collagen peptides, which are composed of the shorter amino acid chains that are bioavailable. Therefore, Pure Gold is composed of peptides.

Soluble in water
Omnicol™ is a Danish-origin, 95% protein, enzyme-catalysed bovine collagen. This production process is of particular importance because it allows the final product to dissolve in water very quickly and without lumps.
Who is it for?
-Bovine collagen is considered the most complex collagen. It contains mainly type I and type III collagen.
- Type I collagen is most involved in the skin, bones, ligaments and tendons.
- Type III collagen mainly affects joints.
What is collagen good for?
Restoring wrinkles and slowing the formation of new ones. Increase collagen levels to improve skin elasticity. Reduces the oiliness of the face.
Hair and nails
Collagen is the primary building block of nails, hair and teeth. It enhances hair growth, making hair thicker and denser. It reduces the fragmentation of teeth and hair.
Improving the condition of bones
Increasing collagen levels helps prevent bone breakdown, and has also been shown to be effective against osteoporosis.
Liver and stomach
Glycine in collagen reduces the negative effects of toxins and alcohol on the liver. In addition, glycine and proline (also found in collagen) have effects on the central nervous system and may help to combat stress-related stomach ulcers.
Improving the condition of cartilage and ligaments
The use of collagen reduces the risk of joint injuries by increasing the production of a rubbery substance on cartilage. This can also help with joint pain.
Heart and vascular system
Collagen and the condition of blood vessels are closely linked, as adequate collagen production is essential for healthy blood vessel walls.
Helping the intestinal wall to regenerate:
In inflammatory bowel diseases, the body usually has low levels of collagen, which is essential for healthy intestinal walls.
